Smartphones are getting smarter day by day and now a number of phones have computation capabilities almost similar to those of a powerful PC thanks to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

The Snapdragon 888 is a 64-bit 5nm fabricated system-on-chip announced by Qualcomm on 1st December 2020.

The Xiaomi Redmi 11 became the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 888. Announced 28th December 2020, It is a 5G Smartphone with a 6.81 inch AMOLED display with 1 Billion colors, 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ as well as 1500 nits maximum brightness.
It also features a Triple rear camera setup made of a 108MP primary Camera, a 13 MP ultrawide lens and a 5 MP macro lens.
It can shoot videos of upto 8K@24/30fps, and the single 25MP selfie camera can also record 1080p videos.
Powering the M11 is a non removable Li-po 4,600 mAh battery with 55W fast charge support.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Series.
In January 14th, Samsung announced what was to be their best flagship series Smartphones; the Galaxy S21 series made up of the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and the S21 Ultra.
Samsung might not have been the first to announce a Snapdragon 888 phone, but they managed to have their S21 series available Globally before the Xiaomi Mi 11. The only issue with the Galaxy S21 phones is that the US Variants are the only ones with this chipset. The international Variants use the Exynoss 2100 chipset.
